Yunnan Dehong Longchuan Bienaihe Hydropower Stations: This project is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Bienai River in Yunnan Province, China. The project involves the construction and operation of two small-scale run-of-river hydropower stations.

The project will provide renewable hydropower to South China, and displace equivalent electricity from more traditional thermal power plants, thus reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In addition to renewable energy, the project will contribute to the province’s economic development by improving the local energy generation infrastructure and increasing employment during both construction and operation of the power plant.
